MARLEY

My name is Marley Fram and I am 13 years old. I am extremely honoured to be a Dance by aKaiserPhoto ambassador. Dance has been a part of my life since before I can remember. My great grandmother owned a dance studio in North Bay, Ontario, for over 50 years (the Barbara Treleaven School of Dancing) and my mom owned a studio for 15 years here in Sudbury, Ontario (Project Dance). It is here, at the young age of two years old, where I found my joy and love for dance. Growing up, much time was spent at the studio watching dancers who continue to inspire me to this day. I knew at a young age dance was going to be an important part of my life.

I am grateful for all of the experiences dance has given me. Like any competitive athlete, many hours are spent training throughout the season. Some of my favourite memories are being with my friends and teammates at dance competitions. My favourite styles of dance are jazz, contemporary, and lyrical. I also LOVE improv! In my spare time (when I’m not dancing) I enjoy downhill skiing, spending time at our family cottage, swimming, and making up dances with my two little sisters.

My mom closed her studio in 2021 and since then I’m grateful to have continued my training at Dance Evolution. Miss Tay and her staff have been so welcoming to not only myself and my sisters, but all of the dancers from Project Dance.

I am so excited to see what the future holds! But until then… I’m just going to keep on dancing!
