I have been dancing since the age of 5 and am currently in my final year of highschool. My passion for dance started when I enrolled in my first pre-dance class at Dance Evolution. I have spent the last 13 years training in most genres of dance while competing and attending workshops all over the province. Receiving numerous special awards, top honours, and scholarships, gave me the ability to work with well-known professionals in the field. Competing in the Dance Canada Pageant at age 10 opened up opportunities to dance with some of the best dancers across Ontario, and learn from top choreographers.
I love all styles of dance, however, my favourite genres are contemporary and ballet. This was recognized when I was accepted to, and attended, The National Ballet of Canada’s Summer Institute in 2017. I was able to develop my technique alongside dancers from around the world under the tutelage of some of the top ballet instructors. I have successfully completed the Grade 5 RAD Ballet Examination with distinction and am currently working towards the Intermediate level. Although my time as a competitive dancer is coming to a close, I have shifted my focus to teaching dance classes. It is such a pleasure to be able to share my passion with the up-and-coming dancers at the studio.
Being on the DAKP ambassador team has been nothing short of amazing! Not only are the photos amazing, but I am also able to represent males in dance.
